Clamp Light Artist Studios & Gallery invites artists to present lens-based work for a curated FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA 2015 exhibition, The Altered Landscape.
The Altered Landscape will consider ideas surrounding the contemporary landscape. Photographers exploring place in terms of histories, geographies and geologies, focusing on the interaction of people and environment or on environmental concerns are encouraged to apply.
Clamp Light Artist Studios & Gallery is excited to announce, Heroes are less Heroic, new works by by J. Eric Simpson. The exhibition will be open through May 8th–31th, with an opening reception May 8th from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. in conjunction with Second Friday.

Known for his conceptually based art practice, Amado was born in San Antonio, Texas. He received his BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin and his BFA and MFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Amado resided in both Texas and New York City for many years, but has now chosen to live in his hometown full time.
The works in 30 Day Rx are informed by Amado’s recent personal experience with illness and prescription drugs. Focusing on the gamut of ways that pharmaceuticals inflect our daily lives, Amado reveals the beauty, power, and consequences of living in bodies consisting of, and charged with, chemicals. Take a dose.

INCOGNITO: Fiesta’s Masked Ball – an official Fiesta Event produced by The URBAN-15 Group – will be taking place on April 18th, 2015, 8 pm to Midnight, at the Whitley Conference Center, 285 Oblate Drive.
Cornelia White Swann: Fugitive Color I, currently showing at French & Michigan Gallery, is closing April 25. You are welcome during regular gallery hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00am – 6:00pm) to view Swann’s paintings—either for the first time, or to discover the changes that have taken place in the work over the course of the exhibition.
The second of the two-part presentation, Fugitive Color II, opens in spring 2016 and coincides with the catalogue release. The publication examines Swann’s process and concepts through curatorial and experimental essays, broader cultural investigations, and interviews with the artist.
