“fearless performances. . . electrifying chemistry. . . precisely what “A Streetcar Named Desire” should be: Bracing, bruising and hard to shake. — Deborah Martin, San Antonio Express-News
This is the final weekend to catch Tennessee Williams’ noir classic, A Streetcar Named Desire at The Little Carver Theatre. The reviews have been glowing! Our friends that have already caught performances were equally effusive. Page headed down to the theatre box-office today to pick up our tickets for Sunday afternoon. General admission, $25 a pop. Be warned, if you live in town, just take the drive down to Carver to do the pick-up. Otherwise, Ticketmaster will pop you for another seven-and-a-half simoleons. That’s almost 30 percent! What a racket…
We are fortunate here in San Antonio to have a great selection of independent theater companies. Really looking forward to this. There are a million things to do in the naked city this weekend, and this is one of ’em. Hope to see you there!
